Dog Day Salon at Charlies Place:

Do-it-yourself Dog Wash. All proceeds go to Friends of Charlies Place and right back into the community. It is offered every Sunday from 1-5 pm at the Shelter. Please call (303) 679-2477 to reserve your spot today!!

 Dog Wash: $10-$15 depending on size, do-it-yourself

 Nail Clipping: $5-$10 depending on size, done by a professional groomer

August 21-22: Gilpin County Fair. Hours: Sat 9-7, Sun 9-5. County Fair in a beautiful mountain setting. Admittance, parking and all activities are free. Games, music, story-telling and much more designed to intrigue, excite and even teach fairgoers about the history of Gilpin County, mining, gold panning,
