Gilpin Winter Arts Festival
Come join us for our annual Winter Arts Festival community event! We will have pictures with Santa, crafts table, face painting, Twisted Critters Balloons and local vendors selling their goods! Stop by the Friends of Charlie's Place booth for all your Christmas needs and meet a few of our adoptable dogs from the shelter. Friends of Charlie's Place will have a booth at the Central City Levit Street Market. Levit Street Market is a brand new farmers market and live music venue every Sunday May 2nd - October 31st.

Howl at the Moon
Come join us for an enchanted Hallows Eve including a silent auction, food, entertainment by JJR, and lots of dancing! FOCP's annual fundraiser at the Elks Lodge helps support Charlie's Place (Clear Creek and Gilpin Animal Shelter) and all the wonderful work they do to save companion animals and improve their lives. Touch-A-Truck
Friends of Charlie's Place will be bringing adoptable dogs to this Touch-A-Truck event. Come out and see just how big these trucks are, and explore the mechanics. Climb up into the driver's seat of a GIANT haul truck, operate a mini-excavator, or touch a giant quarry loader. This is a community service fundraiser produced by the Rotary Clear Creek 2000 Club. Georgetown 4th of July Parade and BBQ
Come help us celebrate the 4th and meet our adoptable pups from Charlie's Place. Date: July 4, 2021 Parade Time: 11:00 AM Parade Location: 6th Street (Georgetown, Colorado). Georgetown will be hosting an afternoon BBQ and live music at the Town Park - 12:00 noon. We'll see you there. |
